Archie (Chazkel) Riskin was born on April 10, 1903, in Moghilev, Russia, the son of Jacob Salomon Riskin and his wife, Sarah Bilkin.
He married first to Mollie M. (LNU) (b. 1906-1909 in MA; d. 28Sep1956 in Boston).
He married second to Leona Hattie Levins (b. 25Oct1911 in Brockton; d. 13Dec1983 in Boston), daughter of Morris Levins and his wife, Dora Adelman.
Archie Riskin died on July 17, 1993, in Newton.
Archie Riskin began practice as an architect in Boston in the mid1930s. He continued to practice in the 1980s. For a number of years, he worked in association with architect David Fried in the firm of Riskin and Fried Architectural Associates.
