Carroll Hobart Tiffany was born on January 13, 1887, in New York City, the son of Edwin Everett Tiffany and his wife, Helen M. Hyde.

He married first on August 14, 1915, in Portland, Maine, to Nellie Alice Eaton (b. 23Feb1880 in Revere; d. 15Oct1947 in Medford), daughter of Arthur Stoner Eaton and his wife, Alice May Blood.

He married second in 1951 to Helen May (Walker) Churchill (b. 5Jan1902 in Medford; d. Mar1995), daughter of Henigar Francis Walker and his wife, Helen Ruth Emerson, and widow of Tyler Howard Churchill.

Carroll Tiffiny died on March 13, 1974, in Medford.

Career

Carroll Tiffany moved with his parents from New York City to Medford and became a draftsman in Boston. In 1927, he opened his own office as an architect. He continued to practice in Boston until the mid-1960s.
