WIlliam Chester Chase

William Chester Chase was born on March 17, 1865, in Lowell, the son of Charles Chauncy Chase and his wife, Martha Smith Cowles (daughter of Timothy Cowles).

He married on June 28, 1892, in Boston, to Adelaide Angelique de Pelgrom Cole (b. 15Dec1868 in Boston; d. 1944 In Gloucester), daughter of Joseph Foxcroft Cole and his wife, Irma de Pelgrom.  Adelaide (Cole) Chase was an artist.

William Chase died on April 30, 1954.

Career

William Chester Chase was an architect in Boston from the mi-1890s.  He maintained offices there until the early 1930, after which he practiced from his home at 8 Marlborough.

Among his work was the Grace Universalist Church in Lowell (1895).
