William E. Nast

Personal Data

William E. Nast was born on November 1, 1901, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of William A. Nast and his wife, Marie Beiger.

He married on August 30, 1923, in Huntington, Massachusetts, to Bertha Baer (b. 15Oct1894 in Clinton MA; d. 12Aug1986 in Newton), daughter of Henry Baer and his wife, Anna Schwab.

William Nast died on July 20, 2002, in Quincy.  At the time of his death, he was a resident of Cohasset.

Career

William Nast graduated from Pratt Institute in 1920.  In 1945, he joined in partnership with Herman L. Feer.  They remained in partnership until Herman Feer’s death in 1962, after which he continued as a sole practitioner.

Among his works were the Jewish Memorial Hospital in Roxbury (1960) and several shopping centers.
