Herman Louis Feer was born on June 17, 1895, in Kovno, Russia, the son of Joseph M. Feer and his wife, Rose Wides.
He married on March 25, 1923, in Cleveland, to Esther Rubin (b. 5Jul1900 in Russia; d. 2Nov1982 in MA), daughter of Herman Rubin and his wife, Bessie Israel.
Herman Feer died on July 23, 1962, in Brookline.
Career
Herman L. Feer immigrated to the United States in about 1903. He began practice as an architect in Boston in about 1921, in partnership with Samuel S. Eisenberg in the firm of Eisenberg and Feer They remained partners until about 1936, after which they both continued as sole practitioners. In about 1945, he joined in partnership with William E. Nast. They remained partners at the time of his death in 1962.
Herman Feer designed numerous commercial buildings, apartments, and shopping centers throughout New England.
